Utah Quilters Combine Heritage and Skill in Textile Art

Gathered in Time:  A Database of Utah Quilts and Their Makers, Settlement to 1950 - A fabulous online repository of information about almost 2,000 historical Utah quilts developed in a joint project by the Utah Quilt Heritage Corporation and Cornell University, and representing ten years of research.  You can search the database by pattern, quilter, type of quilt, and other search terms.  The project also includes a public television documentary and a book.  An excellent site to visit for anyone interested in vintage and antique quilts.

Amy Stewart Winsor - Although not technically a Utahn, I think she qualifies, since she lived in Utah for ten years.  Don't miss her "Opera Quilt" and "Stuffed Crust Pizza."
